| In some chafing dishes, this is achieved by placing the Easy Heat can in the retainer provided for the jellied alcohols. In other chafing dishes, the retainer needs to be removed and the Easy Heat can placed directly on the table top. In still other chafers, the Easy Heat can needs to be raised by placing on an upside-down saucer to obtain the correct distance.
If none of the above options provide the proper distance from the top of the can to the bottom of the chafer, our shorter size EZ 4-2-5 will probably be the correct size to use. |
Since Easy Heat cans never get hot, placing them directly on the table is not a problem.
For best results, chafers should always be started with hot tap water. No more than three quarts (2.8 liters) of water, or about 3/4" (19 mm), is sufficient in a standard double chafing dish. When used properly, Easy Heat will give you all the heat your chafer requires to keep the food at the proper temperatures EVEN with the CHAFER LID OPEN. |
